Terms of Service

The service

Layout Face is a browser-based tool for designing layouts for the Layout Face Garmin watchface, operated by Flavio Mendes in Ireland. The watchface is distributed free through the Garmin Connect IQ Store. Designs are transferred to your watch by copying a layout code and pasting it into the watchface settings in Garmin Connect.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

License and payment

A free tier lets you design faces and install the included preset faces. An optional one-time purchase unlocks saving unlimited custom watchfaces to your web library. The license is personal and non-transferable. Pricing is shown before checkout, and payment is processed by Stripe. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit or publish content that infringes intellectual property, including third-party logos, brands, or copyrighted artwork.
• Upload unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or sexually explicit content.
• Attempt to breach security, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or circumvent access controls.
• Misrepresent affiliation with us, Garmin, or any third party.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Report violations to flavio@trilha.info or via our takedown process.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of layouts you create. By publishing a face for the community you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display it within the service. Layout Face and its original code and assets remain our property, subject to third-party licenses.

Layout Face is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garmin Ltd. Garmin is a trademark of Garmin Ltd. We are not responsible for the behavior of Garmin devices, the Garmin Connect app, or the Connect IQ Store.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights in the EU). Subject to that, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the European Union. We may update them; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data. Questions? flavio@trilha.info.
